CMS Band Faculty

Mr. Alexander has been teaching band since 2004, when he was the director of bands at Valmeyer CUSD #3. In 2009, Mr. Alexander moved to Collinsville Middle School.

Mr. Alexander is a 1996 graduate of Alton High School, and attended Lewis & Clark Community College where he earned is Associates Degree in Music. In 2003, he earned two Baccalaureate degrees: one in K-12 Music Education and one in Jazz Studies/Saxophone Performance from Eastern Illinois University. He completed his Masters Degree in Music Education from EIU in 2016.

Mr. Alexander lives with his wife, two children, and a spoiled dog in Alton, IL.
