Meet Jenny Malboeuf
Founder & Lead Educator
Long before I became an Electrologist, I was a client searching, for years, for a real answer to my unwanted hair. I understand, deeply, what it means to want to help someone feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. That understanding is at the heart of everything I teach.
In 2012, I was chair-side trained by a wonderfully skilled Electrologist, and I later earned my certification through Swanson's Canadian Institute of Electrolysis. I've been teaching this craft since 2018, and what I love most is watching a student arrive uncertain and leave truly confident, not just in their technique, but in themselves.
That's part of why our program is the longest of its kind in Canada. I never want a student to feel rushed toward "good enough." You deserve the time, repetition, and support it takes to feel genuinely ready for your clients and for the career ahead of you.
And that support doesn't end at graduation. Clarico Electrolysis Academy offers lifetime mentorship to every student we teach. I'm always here, a message or call away, whenever you need guidance, reassurance, or a second opinion, whether that's in your first month or ten years into your career.
I've continued learning throughout my own journey too, through Educator certification with Zap Master Electrology, Milady Instructor training, specialized continuing education including topics such as surgical prep hair removal training, Trans Care BC's gender diversity modules, Dectro International’s Modern Electrolysis Symposium and numerous convention lectures. I believe an educator should keep growing right alongside their students.
If you're considering this path, I'd love for you to feel one thing above all as you read this: you don't have to do this alone. I'll be with you every step of the way, and long after.
