About the Conference
FIC-24 aims to bring together researchers, scientists, academicians, and industry professionals from Inorganic /Organic/Physical Chemistry to explore the latest innovations and advancements in catalysis and smart materials. The conference proposes a platform for chemists to meet, exchange knowledge on recent developments, and promote collaborations and opportunities in chemistry of catalysis. This international conference will be held in both hybrid format with online and onsite versions at CURAJ campus during January 4th-5th , 2024. This HYBRID EVENT allows you to participate in person at CURAJ campus or virtually from your home or work. The FIC-24 will cover all aspects related to catalysis, and will have invited talks and oral and poster presentations on the following sub-themes but not limited to:
Homogeneous Catalysis, Heterogeneous Catalysis, Molecular Catalysis, Electrocatalysis, Photocatalysis, Green Chemistry, Environmental Catalysis, Industrial Catalysis, Nanocatalysis, Biocatalysis and Biotransformation, Catalysis for Renewable Resources, Catalytic Materials.
About the University
The Central University of Rajasthan (CURaj) was established in the year 2009 by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009). This University was established with the aspiration to be one of India’s most dynamic and vibrant universities in order to impart cutting-edge education to all the learner communities. The University is fully funded by the Ministry of Education through University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. It is located near to Jaipur and operates through its own 518+ Acres of lush green campus with all modern amenities. At present, university is running significant and innovative 70+ Masters and Ph.D. Programmes through its 12 Schools and 32 Academic Departments on par with global competence. To date, CURaj has successfully completed a journey of 15 years since its establishment in the year 2009. In this short span of time, the University has emerged as one of the top academic institutions by adopting cutting edge technology to impart knowledge for global outreach. The University is one of the fastest-growing and flourishing institutes of higher education in Rajasthan.
In the last 15 years of its journey, the University has emerged as a green and pollution-free campus which promises to provide an aesthetic and salubrious environment to nurture and optimize academics, research, and holistic development by engaging the students and staff members in various sports and cultural activities that are crucial for maintaining the well-being of the students and nurturing their potentials. At present, the university is progressing under the able leadership of Prof. Anand Bhalerao in the capacity of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. The university has recently been accredited with the significant grade from NAAC (A++ with 3.54 CGPA).
About Department Of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry @CURaj is committed to research and teaching since its inception in 2010. It is located in Academic Block-4A4 since May 23, 2015. The department started master’s in science (Chemistry) 2-year programme in 2010 and immersed with full time Ph. D. programme in 2012, Integrated M. Sc. (Chemistry) 5-year programme in 2013 and Integrated M. Sc. B. Ed. (Chemistry as Major) 3-year programme in 2015. Each programme follows choice-based credit system (CBCS) along with core courses and student evaluation composed of continuous assessment through semester examination. The Ph.D. programme in Chemistry aim to train the students with basic and cutting-edge research protocols. We have crossed traditional vertical boundaries of scientific disciplines in past 13-years of journey and emerged with drug designing, organometallic chemistry, bioorganic & bio-inorganic chemistry, materials chemistry, theoretical chemistry in line with gaining more strength towards asymmetric synthesis, heterocyclic/macrocyclic chemistry and organic spectroscopy. Department is funded by DST-FIST and faculty received research grants from various funding agencies such as CSIR, DST, UGC, etc.
