Girls Cross Country Wins Third Consecutive State Championship!

Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team on capturing the State Championship this past Saturday at Ponaganset — the third consecutive title for the Clippers!

Cece Ludwig led the way, claiming the Individual State Championship with a school-record time of 18:27, finishing an incredible 27 seconds ahead of the field. She becomes just the third Clipper to win the individual state title, joining Kerry Brothers (1988) and Joanne Choiniere (1976, 1977).

Outstanding performances also came from Charli McCue (3rd, 18:50), Gabby Stoothoff (6th, 18:57), Natalie Crawford (9th, 19:07), and Anna Bianchi (12th), rounding out the scoring for the championship team.

Ludwig, McCue, and Stoothoff earned First Team All-State honors, while Crawford and Bianchi were named to the Second Team All-State.
