Hello! My name is Kari Bierman. I am a Second Grade teacher here at Cumberland Elementary. This is my fourth year in second grade after moving from teaching Kindergarten for fourteen years. Yes, that is right, 14+4=my 18th year of teaching. It doesn't seem possible. I love what I do, so every year feels like my first exciting year as a teacher!

My husband Jack and I live in the country with our three beautiful children. Kelby will be in the 6th grade this year. He loves anything sports. Kaleb is excited about starting his 5th grade year in middle school this year. Sassy Miss Jadyn is three! She keeps all of us on our toes!

When I am not thinking school....I love to read, shop, and take walks. As a family we love to spend time at our family pond swimming, grilling, and singing around the campfire.
