WriteNow Masterclass Initiative (WNMI) is a 12-month Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership in Adult Education (KA210-ADU) designed to modernise creative and non-fiction writing education through the structured integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and digital methodologies.
The project responds to the growing need for adult learners and educators to develop digital readiness, resilience, and AI-enhanced competences in a rapidly evolving professional landscape. As AI increasingly shapes publishing, communication, and content creation, many aspiring writers and trainers lack structured guidance on how to integrate these technologies effectively and ethically into their practice. WNMI addresses this gap by combining traditional writing techniques with AI-assisted tools in a practical, accessible learning framework.
The partnership brings together:
Krill Studio (Italy) – Lead partner, specialising in publishing and communication;
GAIA ASOCIACION DE INDUSTRIAS DE CONOCIMIENTO Y TECNOLOGIA - GAIA - EUSKALHERRIKO EZAGUTZA ETA TEKNOLOGIA INDUSTRIEN ELKARTEA (Spain) – Expert in digital transformation and AI integration in the Cultural and Creative Industries;
Casa do Professor (Portugal) – Adult education and lifelong learning specialist.
The project directly engages 90 adult learners (30 per country) and 15 adult educators (5 per country) through a structured 20-hour masterclass implemented in each partner country.
WNMI is structured around three core activities:
Curriculum Development and Finalisation
Design of an AI-integrated creative writing curriculum based on a transnational needs assessment, combining narrative techniques, AI-assisted drafting, editing methodologies, and digital publishing strategies.
Masterclass Delivery
Implementation of a blended training programme providing hands-on experience in AI-enhanced writing, storytelling, research, and content refinement.
Toolkit Development
Creation of an AI-enhanced Writing Toolkit including templates, revision guides, storytelling frameworks, and pedagogical resources to ensure sustainability and replicability beyond the project duration.
The expected outcomes include:
A structured AI-integrated writing curriculum,
A publicly accessible digital writing toolkit,
Improved digital literacy and AI competences among adult learners and educators,
A transnational network of writers and trainers promoting innovation in adult education.
WNMI contributes to Erasmus+ horizontal priorities by strengthening digital transformation in adult learning, promoting innovative curricula, and enhancing AI and data literacy competences. By demonstrating how AI can support — rather than replace — human creativity, the project establishes a scalable and sustainable model for AI integration in creative education across Europe.
