Our Method: The Tree of Knowledge

The Roots (Preservation): We create and preserve oral, digital, and material sources that document the complexity of the European lived experience.

The Trunk (Analysis): We apply absolute methodological rigor in the critical interpretation of sources.

The Branches (Communication): We experiment with new languages: podcasts, web documentaries, interactive exhibitions, and digital storytelling.

The Leaves (Application): We transform research into social impact, informing public policies and strengthening the identity of communities.

Shared Authority: Co-creating the Past

We believe in shared authority.

Through citizen science and crowdsourcing projects, we invite the public not to be mere spectators, but active participants in research, uploading documents, sharing testimonies, and contributing to the writing of history.
