Croy Primary Building and Grounds

Croy Primary School floor plan

Croy has had a village school since 1872.  The current building consists of three classrooms and a nursery built round an open area where there are facilities for teaching, cooking, art and technology.  In the rest of the school we have a hall, dining area, staff room and administration and small group rooms.  The beautiful building, use of space and natural light make the school a calm and pleasant building in which to learn. As our role is increasing, we now have a portacabin in the playground which houses P4 to P7.

Our large nursery garden provides our children with the opportunities they need to develop gross motor skills and learn about the natural world. Our decked area is used to set up provocations for our youngest pupils to explore and learn during play. We boast an orchard which provides us with apples to make our own apple juice and a pizza garden where we grow our own ingredients to make pizza!

The trim trail in our playground which is well used by all pupils (and occasionally staff!) We also benefit from a large grassed playing field where our budding footballers and sprinters practise!
