The Department of Mathematics, Central University of Kerala (CUK) is proud to organize the International Conference on Mathematical Analysis and its Applications (Online) in association with the International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS). The conference CONIAPS XXVII 2021, will be held online from 26 to 28 October 2021. The primary objective of the conference is to bring together mathematicians, young researchers and scholars who are working in diverse areas of Mathematical Analysis, from different parts of the world to a common platform to interact with each other, to share their knowledge and experiences, as well as to exchange their innovative ideas, and discuss the topics of common interests in this interesting and extensively applied area of mathematical analysis.
The conference offers the participants an opportunity to be familiar with the contemporary developments in the area and it serves as an excellent platform to instil research interest amongst young minds on recent topics of Mathematical Analysis. The conference will feature keynote addresses, plenary sessions, a number of invited talks and contributed papers in the proposed areas. Authors are invited to submit their papers. The accepted papers will be scheduled for oral presentation in virtual mode. Young researchers are encouraged to give oral presentations during the conference. Young Scientist awards will be given to the best oral presentations by researchers below the age of 35 years.
Thrust Areas:
All topics related to Mathematical Analysis & its Applications, including but not limited to:
Differential Equations, Control Theory, Inverse Problems
Fixed Point Theory, Operator Theory & Function Spaces
Modern Methods of Summability & Approximation Theory
Orthogonal Polynomials & Special Functions
Variational Methods, Optimization Theory, Dynamical Systems
The Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, came into being in 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009 (Parliament Act No. 25 of 2009). The University is founded on the noble vision of ‘Caring Wisdom’ and is guided by the lofty ideals of academic and social commitment, moral steadfastness and intellectual and spiritual enlightenment, as reflected in its vision statement. The Central University of Kerala (CUK) here is ranked among the top 150 premier educational institutions across India, as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2021) survey.
The Department of Mathematics at the Central University of Kerala was started as one of the first six departments of the university in 2011. The department offers the master of science and doctor of philosophy programs in mathematics with the major objective of developing a centre of excellence, especially in mathematical sciences and applications. The department’s research interests span across the broad areas of Algebra, Analysis, Combinatorics, Control Theory, Differential Equations, Discrete Mathematics, Distribution Theory, Fixed Point Theory, Operations Research, Stochastic Modelling & Analysis, and Topological Dynamics.
International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) was founded in 1994 with its headquarters at Allahabad (now Prayagraj), India with its objective to promote an interdisciplinary approach and foster synergy among different subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Earth Sciences and Biophysical Sciences such as Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, etc. The Academy has previously organized twenty-six international conferences on interdisciplinary themes in reputed Universities/ Institutes across the country as well as foreign countries. In the Silver Jubilee year of IAPS (2019), twenty-nine national conferences/ workshops/ seminars were organized at different institutions in the country in different fields of physical sciences to commemorate the important event. The Silver Jubilee celebration was ended with the 25th International Conference of IAPS held at Guru Jambheswar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (Haryana), which was also celebrating its own Silver Jubilee year, on Physical and Biological Sciences at Cross Roads. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 26th international conference of the Academy (CONIAPS XXVI) was organized virtually in 2020 at 11 departments of 10 universities/institutes of 9 states of India.
