Summer Counselors - Walden West Summer Camp
Walden West Summer Camp offers many great volunteer opportunities all summer long. Each volunteer position provides training and experience working with peers, group management, child safety, and more. Be a part of creating something special with your time this summer.
Requirements:
High school sophomore, junior, senior, or college students
Has a strong focus on child safety, role modeling for children, and loves to be outdoors
Willingness to sing, dance, and act at the expense of entertaining children (and your peers)
HandsOn Tomorrow: A HS Volunteering Summer Program
Check out HandsOn Tomorrow's summer leadership and volunteering program, HandsOn Tomorrow, designed for incoming freshmen to seniors.
This two-week program will provide participants with tools to become better community leaders while generating up to 55 volunteer hours that can be added to their college applications, resumes, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). Additionally, students will be given resources to confidently develop a service project in an impact area such as hunger, housing insecurity, the environment, and more.
The San Jose cohort will meet in person from June 17th - June 29th Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. We are excited to expand this program into the San Jose area, after having continuous success in Palo Alto, San Francisco, and the East Bay! HandsOn Tomorrow is perfect for students interested in leadership, program management, and community volunteerism.
