Starting in October, in order to accommodate more schedules, Branham Administration will be holding our weekly open Q&A sessions on the following days/times:
1st, 3rd, 5th Friday of the month = 7:45am - 8:30am
2nd, 4th Thursday of the month = 5:30pm - 6:00pm

As part of the annual registration process, one of the documents that parents and students are asked to sign is the CUHSD 'Acceptable Use of Technology Policy'. Students in particular are reminded that any technology provided by the school (chromebooks, email, wifi hotspots, etc) is subject to monitoring for inappropriate, disturbing, or illegal use. The Bruin Appreciation Group has been working on a little surprise for AVID students! We are coordinating a gift pick-up at Branham on Tuesday the 29th of September, from 3-5pm. Upon arrival, please make sure you are wearing your mask and socially distancing yourself. Make your way toward the ASB room (right near the front gate) and we will hand you your gift! (There will be signs to help navigate you). If you cannot make it to these designated times, then one of the students from the group will get back to you and make plans to drop it off at your house. Hopefully, you all will enjoy the little gifts and they make your day!

A reminder that student/athletes must demonstrate academic eligibility to participate in high school athletics. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required as well as being on track to graduate. With the delay of the start of athletic contests, the first 2020-21 grade check that will impact eligibility for athletic contests are the grades at the end of the 1st semester. Student/athletes and their parents are encouraged to monitor their grades to ensure they have at least a 2.0 GPA and will be eligible at the end of the 1st semester.
The next round of sports physicals at BHS have been scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd at 2:45pm in the Athletic Training Room (first come, first served, cost is $20). Bring a completed copy of the 2020-21 Athletic Physical Form (available HERE ) for the doctor to sign.
You may also schedule a sports physical with your family physician. Bring the 2020-21 Athletic Physical Form (available HERE ) with you for the doctor to fill out. Student/athletes and parents complete the rest of this form.
NOTE: ONLY PHYSICALS COMPLETED AFTER JUNE 7TH, 2020 WILL BE VALID FOR THE 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR.

The 6-week grades have been finalized. Please know that counselors will be reaching out to students who received D/F grades. Our goal is to ensure we provide the support needed to help these students get back on track to pass their course(s) by the end of the semester.

The Santa Clara County Suicide Prevention Program will provide a free opportunity to watch the documentary film Angst. An online panel discussion with local mental health experts will follow the screening. The documentary aims to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help. Angst includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents, and a special conversation with Olympic medalist Michael Phelps.

Starting October 14th, Branham will be partnering with the YWCA to host their Teen Empower Program (TEP) every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 12:00pm-1:00pm. TEPs are here to educate on healthy relationships, how to help those who have experienced sexual assault, and how to be a safe bystander in our communities. These presentations will equip you with tools to end violence on campus and be a part of the movement for change.
