We want to know how distance learning is going for you and your student. This survey is an opportunity for you to provide information to help improve this school’s distance learning program. Your opinions are important and the school is interested in hearing them to best address the needs of your children and family. (Students will be taking a similar survey via their Outreach classes over the next 2 weeks.)
Please complete the survey by October 2, 2020. (If you need the survey in Spanish or another language, you will see that option after you click “Take Survey.”)
Access the survey using the following URL: https://wested.ugam-apps.com/wed/ts/yfOU
For the week of 9/28, we will be following a different schedule each day. Note the changes below:
· Monday 9/28 = No School
· Tuesday 9/29 = Typical M/Th Schedule (Periods 1, 3, 5, 7)
· Wednesday 9/30 = Typical T/F Schedule (Periods 2, 4, 6)
· Thursday 10/1 = Wednesday Schedule (Check in with Outreach Teacher during typical time)
· Friday 10/2 = Wednesday Schedule (Check in with Outreach Teacher during typical time)
The first progress report grading period ended on Friday, 9/18. The progress reports are expected to be viewable in Aeries on September 29. We are not planning to print them or mail hard copies home.
The first progress report will be a snapshot of how students are doing in their classes at that particular moment in time. Students will be receiving letter grades (A, B, C D, F). We are aware that the beginning of the school year has been difficult, with steep learning curves for everyone, so the grades a student has in classes may be far off from his or her actual knowledge and skills in the subject. Please take this into consideration as you see the progress report grades. We expect the grades on the 12-week progress report to provide a much more accurate reflection of how students are doing in their classes.
You still have a lot of time to get your Senior Portraits taken. The deadline for yearbook submission is December 15th. Please book your appointment by clicking here. Additionally, outdoor portrait options are available for students in November. To schedule your appointment, CLICK HERE. To inquire about outdoor options, call the studio at 408-354-8660.
