CUEA AGM 2023

The CUEA AGM 2023 addressed outstanding governance items, including the election of an incoming President, Chris O'Connor, and approval of the inaugural member-elected Trustees, as well as covering a summary of activities from the preceding year. CUEA Annual Dinner 2023

The CUEA Annual Dinner 2023 was a black-tie event for all CUEA Members, with a special address from Professor Colm Durkan, the recently appointed Head of the Department of Engineering, looking forward to the 150th Anniversary of the Department, and a Research Insights talk from Nandini Shiralkar. Cambridge Alumni Festival
September 2023
As part of the 2023 Alumni Festival, CUEA ran a tour of the Engineering Department’s West Cambridge Sites. Attendants had the opportunity to see world leading research and labs featuring turbo machinery, the future of manufacturing, smart Infrastructure for more sustainable buildings, and electronic and photonic research at conventional and nanotech scale.
CUEA Farm Tour
May 2023
On Sunday 21st May, CUEA members met at Manor Farm, Little Harrowden for a tour with Reynolds Farmers Ltd. Greeted by fine weather, an impressive display of farm machinery, a croissant, and a cup of tea, we began the day in style.
AGM 2022
The CUEA AGM was held on Wednesday 19th October 2022. The event was hybrid, enabling both online and in-person attendance.
At the AGM, the Committee provided an update on efforts to resolve the governance of the association. There was also a summary of the year's activities and a vote on the two open committee spots.
