I have been the school librarian at CHS since 2011. I love books (especially audio!), theater (especially musical!), spend way too much time online, and find great joy guiding young people through their individual process of discovery and learning. Before joining the staff at CHS, I taught high school English for 16 years. My husband Mike is also a high school teacher and we have two sons: one attends UW-River Falls and the other attends UW-Milwaukee. As a family, we love cheering for our Milwaukee Brewers and taking long road trips in the summers, particularly to national parks.
Some of my favorite authors include Jason Reynolds, Elizabeth Acevedo, John Green, Susan Beth Pfeffer, Jennifer Brown, David Levithan, Gayle Forman, Jacquelyn Mitchard, Liane Moriarty, Jonathan Tropper, and Emma Donoghue.
