I have been the school librarian at CHS since 2011. I love books (especially audio!), theater (especially musical!), spend way too much time online, and find great joy guiding young people through their individual process of discovery and learning. Prior to joining the staff at CHS, I taught high school English for 16 years. My husband Mike is also a high school teacher and we have two sons: one in college and one in high school. As a family, we love cheering for our Milwaukee Brewers and taking long road trips in the summers, particularly to national parks.
I am proud to be the advisor of CHS SAGA (Sexuality & Gender Alliance) as well as a very active parent volunteer in the theater program at my younger son's high school.
Some of my favorite authors include Jason Reynolds, Elizabeth Acevedo, John Green, Susan Beth Pfeffer, Jennifer Brown, David Levithan, Gayle Forman, Jacquelyn Mitchard, Liane Moriarty, Jonathan Tropper, and Emma Donoghue.
