What is a finch robot?
Hummingbird's Finch Robot is a programmable robot that you code with an iPad or through the web browser. The Microbit attachment serves as the brain of the robot and it is how you load your code onto the Finch. The FinchBlox allows students K-2 to start coding the Finch and allows for a gradual increase of coding complexity options. 3rd-5th students will use the MakeCode website to program the Finch.

FinchBlox is an iPad app that allows K-2 students to program the Finch. Each iPad will connect to a Finch robot via Bluetooth for sending the code. The FinchBlox app three levels of complexity for students to help students acclimate.

MakeCode is a web-based programming environment that allows students to use block or script coding. The Finch can connect to the computer via USB cable or Bluetooth for sending the code.
