The Truth Healing and Reconciliation Reflection Guide Resource Team invites you to explore themes of colonization, racism and Indigenous resilience with our online national film screening and group discussion.
Based on the successful Young Adult THRRG format, participants will read supporting materials, view a film, and then check in with each other on a video conference call.
The check-in will follow a sharing circle format that continues the themes and Enduring Understandings developed by the THRRG Task Force.
Click on the title of the film on the left-hand side menu bar.
Explore all the supporting materials provided before watching the film. Please note that the materials are meant to provoke thought and heart connections; use them to guide your learning and to prompt discussion during the online reflection group.
Click on the link “Watch Film Here” to view the film online in your own time or in a group setting. If you watch in a group, please note that the reflection questions and session plan are intended for the online call, to be lead by our trained facilitators. You may need to set a separate meeting time to join the online group together or as individuals. Please view before the Online Reflection Group as we will NOT be viewing the film together.
*You will require a stable internet connection to stream the film and join the call.*
Review the Community Covenant and Enduring Understandings before joining the online Reflection Group.
