Campouts and Events

The “Shadows of 1864” camporee is based on the Union Army’s desperate need for soldiers following the Battle of Gettysburg. In the spring of 1864, they launched a recruitment campaign, which serves as the backdrop for our theme. Please see Kevin, Roxy, or Erin regarding signing up. 

Activities

• Cub Scouts: A dedicated Cub Scout program will offer age-appropriate activities, such as candle making, period games, Civil War encampment exploration, music, cooking, soldier drill practice, and a cavalry competition.

Your troop or pack won’t want to miss these game nights! Each scout ticket purchased includes a FREE 2025-2026 Hershey Bears Scout Patch. In addition to the game, Scouts will be invited to attend exclusive scout events prior to/after the game. More information on these events coming soon!
