Michael Coppola (Class of 2025) is pursing a major in Politics and a minor in History and has been on the Men's Swimming and Diving team all four years of his career at Catholic University. He will be attending The University of Pittsburgh School of Law in the fall.
I would say that swimming gave me everything during my time at Catholic. I got to meet my best friends (and second family) and I will cherish those relationships for my entire life. Swimming also made me an infinitely better student and person. I say this because the routine that the sport forced me to adhere to allowed me to manage my time in an efficient way. Also, having the goal winning conference championships gave me something to work towards each and every year. It will definitely be an adjustment in my post-swim career, but I believe that the sport set me up with so many great habits and opportunities that I can use in the next chapter of my life. Â
