Delayni Bland (Class of 2027) is pursing a major in Biomedical Engineering on the Pre-Med track.
I am Delayni Bland, a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., one of the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations dedicated to achievement and service. I belong to the Kappa Chi chapter, which represents The Catholic University of America, American University, Georgetown University, and The George Washington University.
As a student in Catholic University’s Cornerstone Program, I take pride in contributing to our chapter’s impact on campus and in the community. We engage in meaningful initiatives such as volunteering at schools and nursing homes, cleaning the streets of D.C., organizing professional panels for students, and more.
As a whole, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has made a national impact, raising over $3 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The fraternity is also supported by major organizations, including Pfizer, the U.S. Army, and Room to Read.
