Just like any piece of art, this poem is open to interpretation. It can be about a person, place, or maybe even a passion, but that's all up to you.
You’re always Red
You’re my first bike
You’re my favorite shirt
You’re the glow of the oven with the best treats
But today you struck Blue
You’re the bruises on my leg
You’re a poisoned frog
You’re the color of the sky when I get the most nervous
Now you’re Purple
You keep trying to be Red
I can’t think of any metaphor
I don’t know what you are anymore
