Members of the Student Editorial Board are responsible for the production and promotion of the journal each year. The Board is comprised of the Editor-in-Chief, the Associate Editor, the Managing Editor, the Layout Editor, Head Copyeditor, Media Editors and Web Content Editors, as well as their assistants. These students have gone through a rigorous application and interview process.

Trinity Ruiz
Trinity is a senior Philosophy Pre-Law major with minors in English and Theology from Lakeland, Florida. Outside of the Inventio S.E.B., Trinity is an undergraduate writing tutor and a Cardinal Service Corps Leader. She is also an intern for the National Catholic Partnership on Disability. During her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, spending time with friends and family, and observing where dramatic films meet philosophy/theology. After university, she plans to attend graduate school to earn a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Issac Krom
Isaac is a philosophy and mathematics major from Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Outside of Inventio, Isaac is involved with campus ministry as a residence minister and the writing center as an undergraduate tutor. He is also a member of the University Schola.

Mia Beldner
Mia is a junior majoring in Politics and Psychology with minors in English and Philosophy from Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Outside of her involvement with Inventio, she is a member of the Mock Trial team, contributes to the Leading as a Cardinal team with the Office of Campus Activities, and serves as a Writing Center tutor. In her free time, Mia enjoys spending time with friends, discovering new music, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Lauren McGinn
Lauren is a junior Philosophy Pre-Law and Anthropology double major with a Writing minor from Rolesville, North Carolina. She is on the Catholic University Women’s Rowing Team and with the time she has left happily attends all events having to do with philosophy and/or English. In her free time she drinks a detrimental amount of coffee. She has read and re-read the Symposium. She writes silly stories and has terrible dance parties with her best friend. She is also kind of an exercise junkie-- she rows and does triathlons whenever she can.

Elliana is a junior English Secondary Education major with a minor in Writing from Naperville, Illinois. Outside of Inventio, she is also the Managing Editor of The Tower newspaper, the Secretary of Redline A Cappella, and a member of the student editorial board for Vermillion. She also serves as a writing center tutor, a Cardinal Ambassador, and a Resident Assistant. She enjoys singing, reading, and playing frisbee and is always down for a little karaoke or Just Dance.

Hi, my name is Alannah and I am a junior Media and Communications major and writing and Theology minor from Richmond, VA. Some of my favorite authors are Sylvia Plath and Gillian Flynn because of the way they write their female protagonists. On campus, I am involved with Campus Ministry and The Tower newspaper staff. Some of my hobbies are writing, painting, thrifting, and hiking.

David Moretti is a senior English major and Irish studies minor at The Catholic University of America. He is a copyeditor for Inventio and Co-Editor-in-Chief for CUA's literary magazine Vermilion. In his free time, David enjoys reading twentieth-century poetry, learning new recipes, and playing guitar. He is super excited to be on Inventio's student editorial board this year and looks forward to seeing the great work that undergraduate students produce for their community

Katherine Mackenzie is a senior History and Music major from Kansas City, Missouri. She previously published her first paper with Inventio and hopes to continue writing on late 19th century and early 20th century social history. She is involved in the Rome School opera productions, Swing Club, and is currently the Music Archivist-Curator intern at the O Museum in the Mansion

Annie is a Sophomore Cornerstone scholar, pursuing a major in Politics with minors in Philosophy and Islamic World Studies from Media, Pennsylvania. Apart from Inventio, she is a member of the Caroll Forum on Citizenship and Public Life, Arabic Club, and Student Philanthropy Council. In her free time you will find her hanging out with friends, searching for new Indian restaurants, or painting.
