The Office of Disability Support Services (DSS) provides programs and services designed to support and encourage the integration of students with disabilities into the mainstream of the university community.
The CUA Counseling Center offers individual and group therapy for all CUA students as a part of their enrollment.
Smart Start: an optional pre-orientation program offered by the Office of Disability Support Services (DSS), and scheduled before the larger New Student Orientation. It is designed for incoming first-year or new transfer students who have a documented condition or disability and have completed the registration process with DSS for academic accommodations. Up to two additional individuals (e.g. parents, guardians, family members) are also welcome to attend along with their student.
Time management is one of the largest adjustments for students transitioning from high school to college. The link above leads to Catholic University's Counseling Center Planning and Time Management Resources page.
CASP Advisory Council
The advisory council is composed of various CatholicU committees, groups, and campus leaders who will aid CASP's mission of supporting students in need. We have drawn from wide-ranging campus affiliates who we believe will have the greatest capability to reach and impact autistic students.
