University Research Ethics Committee (UREC)
With the basic requirement complied with, the BOR approved resolution No. 61, series of 2018 on May 11, 2018 creating the University Ethical Review Council, which gave rise to the University Research Ethics Committee (UREC). UREC is mandated to review all research studies and projects involving human participants of CTU employees and students. While UREC is under the supervision of the Vice-President for Research and Development (VPRD), it maintains its independence when it comes to research ethics review functions. Read more>
Submission Cut-off
The cut-off for submissions requesting CTU-UREC clearance is two (2) weeks before the CTU-UREC's regular monthly meeting.

Every 3rd Friday of the month.

Shall be prepared in both English and Cebuano languages and clearly stipulate that the research participants are not under undue influence to participate in the study, and that confidentiality and privacy of information is observed during and after the conduct of the study.
