 Objective : The main objective was to tell the youngsters about their role in the development of Village. 

Description : The College chapter of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan conducted a Seminar on the topic “Youngsters role in Village Development”. The youth today should know their responsibilities and work accordingly to that. The I year students of all the departments were the audience. They actively participated in the seminar.

Outcome :  The students understood the importance of getting involved in the development of the nation.

ONE-DAY FREE COTTAGE INDUSTRY TRAINING CAMP IN THIRUKANDALAM

Event:  One day Free Cottage Industry Training Camp in Thirukandalam

Nature of the event: Training Programme

Objective :

The main objective of this Programme is to guide women for achieving economic self-sufficiency by way of providing training in cottage industry.

Description:

Our College Unnat Bharat Abhiyan club in association with Tamilnadu Skill Development Corporation conducted a One Day Free Cottage Industry Training Camp in Thirukandalam on 23.12.2022. 

Mrs. Angeljeearani of  Ooviyaas School of Design and Fine Arts,   Coordinator for Skill Training, had also joined the camp. Students of C.T.T.E. trained the village women by demonstrating things and taught them with the techniques. More than 90 participants benefited through this camp.

Outcome :

The camp trained the women in cottage industry that strengthens their chances of economic self-sufficiency.

Nature of the event : Interactive talk

Topic   :  The Real Face of the Villages

Venue : Ground

Objective : The main objective of this program is to gather information from the students about their village and the facilities provided in their village, like education, transportation. They shared the views in this program.

Description:

Our College Unnat Bharat Abhiyan club conducted a program called “Konjam Sollunga Boss”  on the topic “The Real Face of The Village”.  The members of this club went randomly and questioned about their views on villages. It is conducted to get the opinions and perspective of native villages of the college girls. The following questions are asked to the girls.

1. What is your name?

2. Which department you belong to?

3. Have you ever been to a village?

4. How was your Village experience?

5. What is the one thing you would like to change in your Village?

6. What is the reason for you to visit the village?

Answers:

3. Yes, I have been to Village.

4. I loved the nature in village, the fields and the people there are very lovable. (98% of the Student’s answer)

5. The schools, because it is not properly maintained and the restroom are to be restored. (80% of the Student’s answer)

6. I go to Village to visit my grandmother house.

Outcome : This was a eye opening session for the UBA members to know the backwards of their friends village, and the club members will take initiative steps to avoid the problems faced by the people in the village.

SKIT on AWARENESS AND SAFETY ON DIWALI

Objective: The UBA took initiative to spread the awareness about the green crackers, among the students and let them know, what Diwali is meant.

Description:                                          

Our College Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Club performed  a 'Role-play' about the reduction of pollution on Diwali due to the burning  of crackers and ensured burning of green crackers and celebrating the Diwali with diyas.

Outcome: This initiative successful reached the students and  tried to celebrate this Diwali with Green crackers means a eco friendly Diwali and with safety.

ONE-DAY CAMP ON STUDENTS MENTAL BUILD & HYGIENE

Name of the event: One-day Awareness Camp

Nature of the event: Awareness Camp

Topic: Students Mental Build and Hygiene

Venue: Government higher secondary school, Thandalam

Objective: The UBA club took a step to create awareness about the mental health and hygiene of the students of the Government Higher Secondary School.

Description:

This one day camp was organized by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Club in Panchayat Union Secondary School in Thandalam on 09/09/2022.The members of ‘UBA’ Club done a street play performance about cleanliness. The students got awareness through our program. The members of CC Club asked many questions about consumer awareness and demonstrated adulteration in Food products. Students trained in Yoga performed yoga along with the School students. The members of Villupattu Club performed Villupattu songs regarding students' safety and behavior.

Outcome: This step taken by UBA reached the students to maintain a clean and neat village.

75TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION by UNNAT BHARAT ABYHIYAN CLUB

Objective : The main aim of the program is to showcase how the village were before the independence and how it will be after development

Description The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Club performed a role play event on the topic of Villages: Then vs. Now and the development of the villages as a part of the Independence day celebrations.    

Outcome : The students gained new ideas to develop villages to improve the country’s growth.

ORIENTATION  PROGRAMME  ON  UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN

Objective : To raise awareness in the students about the implementation of UBA and its benefits for the village people, its objectives and various other information relating to UBA

DESCRIPTION:

This program was organised by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Club. The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. Thasleem Banu, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi. She started the orientation with UBA meaning and full form, and she added that it was launched by (MHRD) Ministry of Human Resource Development in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on 11th November, 2014. She enumerated the activities the UBA Club was likely to take up through the academic year and the role the students would have to play in executing them.

Outcome: The students gained knowledge about UBA and its features from the orientation program.
