Thomas Elizabeth College for Women in collaboration with Shine Child & Women Welfare Trust organised a Lincoln Book of Records for setting a new world record with the title “The Women's Empowerment Logo - “The Wonder Woman”. A total of 2023 female students of CTTE College and St. Mary’s Girls' Schools’ students participated in forming the World-record Human-Logo formation commemorating the International Women’s Day 2023. This record is registered in the Lincoln Book of Records on 6th March 2023 at Chevalier T Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, Sembium. The event was inaugurated by Mr.Gideon Christados, Senior Manager, Temenos India Pvt. Ltd. This initiative was taken to promote education and welfare for women across the world.
As a part of digital transformation Initiatives with world class front and middle office transactional capabilities, Temenos has reimagined customer engagement across channels with a software called FinTech. Ms. Sugandh Priya, Director of Product Management at Temenos, recently trained women students from North Chennai on the use of this software as a part of the company's CSR Initiatives. Temenos, with this step, has moved towards developing an inclusive workforce so that women can enter the corporate world, especially in the financial sector.
This digital banking software project and training is expected to empower hundreds of women students. Ms.Sugandh Priya is an Alumna of Chevalier T Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, at Perambur, and hence this programme was initiated by Mr.Gideon Christados, Senior Manager, CSR, Temenos in this campus specifically.
