The objective of the Youth-to-Youth Campaign Training Programme by the BIS Chennai Branch at CTTE College for Women was to empower students with knowledge about quality standards, with a focus on the hallmark, and to instill a sense of responsibility for promoting these standards among their peers. The aim was to equip students with the necessary tools, including informational pamphlets, T-shirts, caps, badges, and guidance on utilizing the BIS Care app. The primary goal was to create ambassadors within the student community who would actively spread awareness about the importance of adhering to quality standards and encourage the use of the BIS Care app for easy access to relevant information.
Outcome :
The training program yielded positive outcomes as students embraced their role as advocates for quality standards. Led by
Ms. Madhushalini Dhanaraj, the students gained a comprehensive understanding of various standards and learned how to effectively communicate this knowledge to their peers. The commitment of each student to educate 25 others, coupled with the distribution of informative pamphlets, ensures a cascading effect of awareness within CTTE College for Women.
