As per University instructions a seven-day camp was organised in our college campus from 25.03.2023 to 31.03.2023. During the seven day camp, based on State Government instructions, a survey on unemployment was conducted. The volunteers covered nearly 50 houses to complete the survey. Awareness programmes on the topics of 'Cleanliness', 'Stop using Drugs' and 'Women safety' were organised and games were conducted for school students. Students during their 7 day period of stay cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner themselves.

On the occasion of National Mathematics and Science Day celebrated on February 14, 2023 the NSS volunteers with the department of BCA, Mathematics, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science went on a rally from the College campus up to Don Bosco School, Perambur. After the Rally the NSS Volunteers worked on the Refreshment committee. More than 80 NSS volunteers and 204 other students from the above mentioned departments took part in this Rally which was led by the NSS Secretaries and the President of the College Student Council.

On the occasion of Leprosy week an awareness program was held on February 9, 2023 by the Chennai Corporation. The resource person gave a clear lecture on the symptoms, causes, etc. of Leprosy and TB. The program started with a welcome speech by the NSS Program Officer Unit 1 Dr. U. Priya and ended with a quiz competition by the Corporation. The students participated enthusiastically.

On the occasion of Pongal Celebration on 26th December 2022, an offline Celebration with Makkal TV was organized by National Service Scheme (NSS) on the topic 'Pongal Celebration'. More than 40 NSS volunteers of the College participated in this event. Students conducted different cultural events. The program started with a welcome speech by Dr. A. Kasthuri and Revathy. R of II BBA followed by a classical welcome dance by the Dance Club. It was followed by a beautiful poetry by Ellakiya Rajinikanth of III Psychology (Student Council) and then the Dance club gave a visual treat with their folk dance. After that a song performance in the melodious voice of Balapriya, followed by a Villupattu mentioning the importance and culture of the Pongal was performed by the students. The the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Drama Club performed a skit with a Social message that youngsters should also take part in agriculture and then the event ended with speeches by the Dance club incharge Dr.Ezhil, Assistant Professor, Tamil Department and Dr. Vimala Assistant Professor, Tamil Department followed by the NSS Program officers Dr. U. The Chief Guest Mr. Baskar gave a very clear speech on the Indian Constitutional laws. LEPROSY CASE DEDUCTION CAMP

The health department of the Chennai Corporation had created a Leprosy Case Deduction Camp to create awareness on the increasing number of leprosy cases. A camp was organised for 14 days to identify patients suspected of having leprosy and give treatment in the early stages so that they will be cured. In this camp 40 NSS volunteers of participated. The volunteers were divided into two and sent to areas such as Thiru.vi.ka.Nagar and Sembiam in each division. 20 volunteers had separated into 10 teams. Each team was allotted 40 houses daily for early case detection. Each team covered 560 houses in 14 days and in total the volunteers had completed 11,200 houses in 14 days of camp. At the end of the camp students were provided with remuneration of Rs 1050 in the calculation of 75 × 14.

Report: On the occasion of Independence day on 15th August 2022, a program was organized by the students of CTTE for Women on the topic 'Celebrating the 75th Independence Day' '75-வது சுதந்திரஅமுதபேரணி'. In this program the NSS volunteers created a human chain. More than 50 NSS volunteers, teaching and non teaching staff and the students including our respected Principal Dr.S.Sridevi and Vice-principal Dr.R.Meenakshi joined in the human chain. The NSS secretaries Rakshitha.R and Lavanya. R led the Human chain. The chain started from the college gate till the arch and then they formed a circle around the flag pole. Our Respected principal Dr.S.Sridevi hoisted the National flag, after flag hoisting everyone saluted the flag followed by the flag song by the choir. The principal Dr.S.Sridevi delivered a rich and intellectually stimulating discourse dealing with the contemporary issues and perspectives. Many other programs were conducted by the students of CTTE. The students and faculty members engaged enthusiastically in this program.

On the occasion of the International Youth Day on 12th August 2022, an offline interactive motivational session was organized by NationalService Scheme (NSS)on the topic 'Self Confidence, Thanksgiving & Social Service'. More than 45 NSS volunteers participated in this program, introductory remarks above the topic were made by the adviser of the forum, following which a range of observations was made by the participants. At the end of the session, the most Active NSS Volunteers and volunteers who completed 30 hours under PASUMAI PASARAI-a certificate course offered by the NSS during the academic year 2021 -2022 and prizes to the winners of Rangoli, Speech, and essay writing competitions on occasion of the 75th Independence DayAzadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and certificate to the NSS Volunteers on Excellence in NSS were distributed by the Chief guest Mrs. Alima Zehra and the NSS Program Officers Dr.U.Priya and Dr.A.Kasthuri and by the alumnae Ms.Divya, an entrepreneur also a NSS Volunteer, who participated in the programme.

TREE PLANTATION

On 30thJune 2022, the National Service Scheme joined hands with a program with Thuvakam.
The event started at 8:00 am, Mr Parthiban from Thuvakam and his team guided us throughout the program.
The volunteers removed the unwanted plants, weeds in the forest area near jeva station Vyasarpadi and then students fertilized the plants using earthworm fertilizers.
31 NSS volunteers participated in this program.
We wound up with a breakfast as a refreshment from Thuvakam team.
