CREATIVE WRITING CLUB

About Us

The Creative Writing Club is open to All College students interested in writing poetry, prose, plays, song lyrics, graphic novels, and other genres. The purpose of the Creative Writing Club is to provide a positive and productive atmosphere for developing student writers to integrate, learn, and grow. In addition, the club will teach students to harness creativity effectively with a variety of different contests or workshops and exercises so as to benefit an individual's skill and competence as a writer. The Creative Writing Club hosts writing contests throughout the year this include:

• Poetry, Plays, Fiction (novels, novellas, and short stories), Songs, Speeches, Memoirs, and Personal essays.

OUTCOME

This club will enable students to develop:

• Self confidence.

• Artistic Self-Expression

• Thought Clarification.

• Better Understanding of the Mechanics of Reading and Writing.

• Empathy and Communication Skills.

• Better Mental, Emotional, and Physical Health.
