HANDCRAFT WORKSHOP
The Art Club of our college organized a workshop on Handcraft, with the help of the club coordinator Dr. P. Anitha, Assistant Professor. The host of the event was Ms.V.Y. Sarranya from III B.A. English, Student Coordinator of the Club. Ms. Oviya from II BBA gave the welcome address. The Guest Speaker of the day is Ms. B. Dev Dharshini, from II B. Com (CS) ' A’ taught us how to make a flower bouquet from crepe papers and charts. She instructed us to cut and stylize the chart to make a flower-like appearance. We learned to make red and yellow flowers along with hibiscus flowers. It was an interactive session students asked their queries regarding the topic. The event ended with the vote of thanks given by Ms. Oviya, II BBA.
CHAINIKA OFF - STAGE EVENTS
The Art Club of our CTTE College for Women has conducted several off-stage events on account of Kalakiran (29 .03.2022) with the help of Art Club Faculty Coordinator Dr P Anitha, Art Club Student Coordinator V Y Sarranya (III BA English) and with an exceptional judge Dr S Madhan, Founder President, Mural Conservation and Research Foundation MCR Foundation, Ponneri. Nearly 61 students have enthusiastically participated and exhibited their talents and from them 9 students have won prizes.
KALAKIRAN OFF-STAGE EVENTS
The Art Club of our College conducted several off-stage events on account of Kalakiran (28.03.2022) with the help of Art Club Faculty Coordinator Dr P Anitha, Art Club Student Coordinator V Y Sarranya (III BA English) and with an exceptional judge Dr S Madhan, Founder President, Mural Conservation and Research Foundation MCR Foundation, Ponneri. Nearly 75 students have enthusiastically participated and executed their talents and from them 9 students have won the events.
WORLD MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY
The Department of Languages of C.T.T.E College celebrated "World Mother Language Day" (23.02.2022). On the occasion of "World Mother Language Day," the Art Club of our C.T.T.E College organized a friendly stage for students to express their talents, with the help of Art club faculty Coordinator Dr. P Anitha and Art club student Coordinator Ms. Sarranya VY (III BA English). Nearly 05 students came forward and expressed their talent and we exhibited the painting during morning assembly (23/02/2022).
KOLAM COMPETITION DURING THE PONGAL CELEBRATION
The ‘Art Club’ with the help of Art Club Coordinator Dr. P. Anitha, Assistant Professor, had organized a friendly stage for students to express their talents on the topic “Pongal Celebration (Kolam)." Nearly 23 students had come forward and expressed their talents. We exhibited the painting during our Pongal Celebration (15.01.2022).
CHRISTMAS RELATED PAINTING
The ‘Art Club’ with the help of Art Club Coordinator Dr. P. Anitha, Assistant Professor, had organized a friendly stage for students to express their talents on the topic “Christmas Related Painting." Nearly 45 students came forward and expressed their talents. We exhibited the painting during our Christmas celebration (22.12.2021) in our college T. Thomas auditorium.
SEMINAR ON KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE ART OF PAINTING
The ‘Art Club’ with the help of Art Club Coordinator Dr. P. Anitha Assistant Professor, Department of Language, organized a seminar on the topic “Knowledge through the Art of Painting.”
The event ended with vote of thanks by M. Shanmugapriya from III B.A English.

GUEST LECTURE ON LITERATURE SEEN THROUGH PAINTING
Our college ‘Art Club’ with the help of Art club Coordinator Dr. P. Anitha, Assistant Professor in Department of Language had organized a seminar on the topic “Literature Seen Through Painting”.
Paintings were important during the periods of the Chola and Pallava rule and our Tamil Literature portrays beautifully all the arts in Silapathikaram, etc.

PENCIL SKETCHING OR COLOUR PAINTING OF IMAGE OF MRS. ELIZABETH THOMAS
The ‘Art Club’ with the help of Art Club Coordinator Dr. P. Anitha, Assistant Professor in Department of Language had organized a competition on Pencil Sketching or Water Colour Painting of the image of Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas (Founder of CTTE College for Women). 5 students had participated in the competition.
ORIENTATION ON INTRODUCTION TO PAINTINGS OF TAMIL NADU
The 'Art Club’ with the help of the Art Club Coordinator Dr. P. Anitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Language, had organised an orientation program on the topic “Introduction to paintings of Tamil Nadu” on July 29, 2021, through Google Meet. The guest speaker was Dr. S. Madhan, Founder President, Mural Conservation and Research Foundation MCR Foundation, had joined us and presented a lot of information on the topic. The topic was very contemporary.. The guest speaker was more factual and informative regarding the old Nayakar paintings etc.
Nearly sixty seven students and college staff joined the program. Finally, Ms. Keerthika presented a video of the students’ paintings on the walls of our college.
The event ended with a vote of thanks by Shanmugapriya of III-B. English.
