The Wilcox Way Respect, Responsibility, & Safety

Book Selection by Grade Level

Our summer reading theme this year is focused on G.R.I.T, Good Readers Inspire Transformation. We believe that reading is the key to increasing literacy skills, developing vocabulary, and succeeding as a lifelong learner. All the novels listed below consist of an overall theme of having GRIT and preparing our learners to be career and college ready.

Our goal for summer reading is for students to have an enjoyable experience where they are encouraged to read for pleasure - not solely for academic credit.
