About the Author - Tyrice Cartwright

Born in the tight-knit community of Brownsville, Tennessee, I've journeyed from Occupational Therapist to entrepreneur, author, loving mother, wife, and CEO of Children Therapy Specialists (CTS). Guided by unwavering values—compassion, perseverance, and empowerment—I founded CTS in 2017, offering early intervention services that transform young lives. As an author,  "Dax Adventures"  and its Grade Level Workbooks entertain and impart vital developmental lessons, fostering creativity and connections. Additionally, I ventured into plush toy inventions, bringing comfort to children alongside my book.

My path has been marked by challenges, self-doubt, and triumphs, demonstrating that with self-belief and dedication, success is attainable. Participation in entrepreneurship programs Our Village United-Elevate MS, Her ProBONO, and Get Procured expanded my horizons. With a TEFL certificate in hand, I'm uniquely positioned to empower communities worldwide through language education. I envision a future where CTS continues to grow while making a lasting impact through community engagement. My journey is a testament to the transformative power of creativity, and compassion. 

I prefer summer over winter, and beach over mountains. I love a great backyard and singing in the shower. I have an insatiable curiosity for good food, foreign cultures, and traveling.
