For each of our students on a Catholic Schools Accommodations Plan, or CAP, we will continue to implement the accommodations for these students. However, a majority of accommodations include things such as extended time, shortened assignments and small group testing. These most common accommodations with be happening naturally through our DLP. We ask parents of students with CAPs to reach out to their teachers for any questions/concerns they may have. Our teachers, along with Mrs. Serey, Mrs. Amorosa, and Ms. Wogan will be proactively reaching out to students on CAP plans to ensure CtRCS is meeting their individual needs throughout this journey.
Those students who participate in weekly reading sessions in our Learning Center with Ms. Wogan, will continue to do so, in real time. Ms. Wogan will be reaching out to each of you with times/days for your reading classes. You can expect to meet with Mrs. Wogan about half as often as you would during the traditional school week. This is in-line with best practice regarding distance learning and the amount of content students can absorb in this new environment of learning. As with all things related to the DLP, we will continue to review and update our CAP/Learning Center plans. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with questions/concerns
