Mitchell Library
Welcome!
The Mitchell Elementary School Library is a warm and inviting community space for students, teachers and families. We encourage reading and critical thinking by offering access to high-quality digital and print resources. Weekly library classes promote information literacy and digital citizenship. Inquiry is a fundamental element of the school library curriculum. We guide students to ask big questions, conduct high-quality research and think critically. Students will explore, create, collaborate, and innovate in the school library.

Dear friends,
I have been working in schools for over 15 years. I love being a school librarian. I get to use technology and read amazing books!
I am a mother to humans and dogs. I also love fitness and baking. Some of my favorite authors include Jacqueline Woodson, Stacy McAnulty, Jason Reynolds and Kelly Yang. My favorite apps and tech tools include Quiver, Padlet, Flipgrid, and Tinkercad.
