Any Fall Baseball played using either the American Legion name or equipment (for example website) will be governed by our State Baseball Committee or its appointed representatives. All the adopted State and National Rules will be in effect with only the following major exceptions:
1) Rule 1 Playing Regulations – Forfeits. Penalties do not apply.
2) Rule 1 Playing Regulations – Suspended Games does not apply. All games count as long as both teams have had a chance to bat at least once.
3) Rule 2 Player Eligibility Requirements. Must be age eligible to play for the team for the 2021 summer season to play in the fall in 2020, since this season is considered part of the tryout process for the following year.
4) Rule 6 Team and Player Certification. Dual Participation limitations do not apply.
5) Rule 6 Team & Player Certification – Double Rostering limitation does not apply.
6) Rule 7 Sportsmanship & Conduct – Implementation of Suspension. Any remaining penalties from the fall will not roll over to the following summer unless the State Committee decides that their nature rises to the level where an exception needs to be made.
7) All teams must carry appropriate insurance.
