Monday February 9, 2026 A cycle

Today’s Black History quote of the day is from Jesse Owens…

“We all have dreams. In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.”  (Jesse Owens)

Jesse Owens, the son of a sharecropper and grandson of an enslaved man, made history by winning four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. His victories challenged Nazism and fascist ideology abroad and racial injustice at home, making him one of the first African American national role models.
