How can we best prepare and support the next generation of language educators? This discussion will continue the discussion around recruitment into teacher education programs, the challenges of preparing teachers in today’s context, and the supports new educators need most. We’ll also explore professional growth at different stages of a career, from early development to experienced leadership, and consider how building community and sharing resources can strengthen teacher preparation and long-term success.
Past Panel Discussions
Our inaugural Post-Secondary Network Panel Discussion brought together language educators from across levels, institutions, and states to share insights, challenges, and strategies for supporting world language students and programs. The conversation was lively and collaborative, highlighting opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. We are excited to continue these discussions at our next meeting and invite all colleagues to participate.
