A bit about Mrs. Lyons:
I teach ELA 8, Honors Algebra 8, and Math 7 . In addition, I am the co-advisor for the Connumach Yearbook and the Junior Class advisor. The 2026-2027 school year will mark the beginning of my twentieth year as a member of the Conemaugh Township Area School District faculty. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications in April 2001 and an Elementary Education (K-6) certificate in April 2005 from the University of Pittsburgh. I also earned a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction in May 2008 from Gannon University. Additionally, I earned certifications in middle school (7-9) mathematics, English, science, and social studies.
I reside in Johnstown, PA, with my husband and two boys, aged 15 years and 12 years. I am an avid reader and enjoy skiing. I love being a mom and spending time with family and friends.
