The Geography Program and CASA, the Center for Applied Spatial Analysis are hosting a one-hour online talk with David and Sharon Froba about Racially Restrictive Covenants in Modesto, California and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Racially Restrictive Covenants (RRCs) refer to contractual agreements that prohibited the purchase, lease, or occupation of a piece of property by a particular group of people, generally non-white.
