Research

One of the High-Impact Practices (HIPs) for students in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is “Work with a faculty member on a research project”. When I was a junior faculty member, I began to develop a goal of involving CSUSB undergraduate students in research. To reach this goal, I have slowly switched my field from Analysis to Graph Theory since this is an area in which students can participate without extensive background.

Other Activities

I am the advisor of our Math Club.

I am the coordinator of our Math Gym.

I am the treasurer of Asian Faculty, Staff, and Student Association (AFSSA) at CSUSB.

Quotes I Like:)

"Be the change you want to see in the world”--usually attributed to Mahatma Gandhi

"Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... and It's All Small Stuff"--Richard Carlson
