As a student researcher, you are expected to:
Commit to 20 hours per week of research or creative activity for the full 10 weeks (June 2 – August 14).
Attend all scheduled workshops, the social event on July 24, and the mini conference on August 14.
Maintain professional communication with your faculty mentor and the OSR team
Meet all program deadlines for submissions and participation.
Represent CSUSB with integrity, curiosity, and respect throughout the summer experience.
Missing more than one mandatory event may result in dismissal from the program.
This section is for OSR student researchers only. All other participants are encouraged to reach out to your program administrator regarding payments.
Students must submit their work hours weekly through the CHRS Student Assistant Timekeeping System. Here’s how to stay on track:
Log your hours daily to avoid forgetting your work schedule.
Submit your hours by Friday each week.
Confirm with your faculty mentor that they have approved your time.
Final hours must be reported no later than the last day of the month. Hours are sent to supervisor (Danielle White) for review and approval.
