- Undergraduate students:
- Grants up to $5,000 in scholarships to undergraduates working towards a STEM degree and who intend to become teachers.

- Grants up to $2,000 for first time, admitted, Science and Mathematics single-subject co-teaching, masters, and intern candidates. Project POPPY scholarship recipients are ineligible.

Golden State Teacher Grant Program
Golden State Teacher Grant Program
The Golden State Teacher Grant Program (GSTG) offers scholarships of up o $20,000 to encourage students to consider earning a teaching credential and teach in a high-need field, at a priority school, in California for four years, within five years after completing a teacher preparation program.

TEACH Grant
TEACH Grant
- Grants up to $4,000 per year to students who intend to teach in low-income areas
- Must be admitted in the teaching credential program to apply
- If the student fails to meet grant requirements, the grant will convert to an unsubsidized loan
- The steps to take to apply for a TEACH Grant are:
- Complete FAFSA
- Complete TEACH Entrance Counseling
- TEACH Grant Request Form
- Complete the Agreement to Serve (ATS)
CSUMB Residency Programs
CSUMB Residency Programs
- CSUMB has partnered with regional schools and School District to establish Teacher Residency Programs
- The programs provide up to $27,000 in stipends to be used for tuition and living costs while earning a credential
