Are you an incoming freshmen or transfer student majoring in mathematics? Do you want to learn more about the Math and Stats department, the faculty, upcoming classes, and research opportunities? Join Math Buddies today!

Math Buddies is a student-led program designed for freshmen and transfer students to get them involved in the Mathematics and Statistics Department here at CSU Monterey Bay. Once enrolled, new Math buddies will be paired with Juniors and Seniors majoring in Math and Stats, known as Math Mentors, who will give them advice. This advice ranges from telling new Otters where research opportunities and counseling services are, inviting them to math major social events such as Movie Night and Bowling, and other fun events.
