Professional learning can have a powerful effect on teacher skills, knowledge, and student learning. Clinical coaching prepares teacher candidates for reflection and iterative practice, growing effective dispositions and teaching strategies.

We expect the TPE rubric to be used by the Pre-Service Teacher, Clinical Coach, and Cooperating Teacher as a cumulative assessment and debriefing tool at the end of each semester.

Through calibrating with the TPE rubric using a training video, teachers then can incorporate reflective practice supporting student success.
