Our career interests span across all industries, in relation to emerging technology, business analytics, network architecture, and digital marketing. Together, we are an academic support system and network for professional development opportunities.

Nelly Guerra is a first-generation college student at UC Davis Graduate School. Nelly's research focuses on controlling weeds in lettuce production by using steam fumigation. Throughout her research, she has collaborated with engineers in Yuma, Arizona who constructed a commercial steamer applicator, to create an economical weed control option for organic farmers and conventional growers looking to reduce herbicide use. Upon graduation in a month, she hopes to become a small farms advisor for the county and apply her knowledge in precision agriculture and machine technology to many farmers in the county.
