Cover methodology basics for working with economic datasets
Begin hands-on work with students to develop and refine project ideas
Provide guidance on data access and analysis tools
Goal: Leave with a clear project direction so you can make progress over winter break.

Bring your work-in-progress for feedback:
Present preliminary findings and visualizations
Review draft slides or prototypes
Get feedback from faculty and peers
Troubleshoot any data or methodology challenges
Sign up for final presentation time slots
What to bring: Whatever you have - slides, charts, preliminary results, questions.
Deadline: Monday, February 3, 2026
Submit the following:
2-page report: Brief summary of your research question, data sources, methodology, findings, and conclusions
Presentation materials: Final slides or poster for the WIL Forum
Date: March 6/7 2026
Present your findings at the WIL Forum:
Brief presentations to faculty, peers, and invited guests
Panel discussion on caregiving economics research
$300 grants awarded upon completion of presentations
