Career Launchpad for Transfer Students
This workshop helps transfer students strengthen their professional presence and prepare for career opportunities.
We’ll cover how to build and optimize a LinkedIn profile, understand why LinkedIn matters for recruiters, and use it to find internships and jobs. We’ll also walk through resume basics—what employers look for, how resumes are structured, and how to create a strong, polished resume PDF.
If time allows, participants will apply to a number of opportunities on LinkedIn and optional headshot photos can be taken during the event.
Food and snacks will be available.

On February 4th, TYE helped students with scholarships by providing application checklists, information and offered guidance through the scholarship process.

On January 30th, the TYE team hosted a table for students to learn about what we do.
We provided information cards, provided cookies for those who stopped by and those who spun the wheel had an opportunity to test their Chico State knowledge.
Additionally, students who stopped by and wrote down their information entered into a raffle for a big goodie bag (we're jealous of what's inside)! The winner will be announced in the coming week.

Our collab introduced TYE students to campus technology can transform your college experience.
The event covered what AI tools are covered with your student email and how to utilize these tools to ensure academic success. Included in the event was a slice of technology info and pizza!
