Module 1. Introduction to Research

At the end of the module, the students can:

1. Understand basic terminology and fundamental concepts in research;

2. comprehend basic flow of research process and formulate it for individual research;

3. select and write problem definition in domain of choice;

4. write research proposal for selected problem definition;

5. analyze types of research methods and apply appropriate methods for defined problem;

6. define research methodology for selected problems

7. define the research problem and propose the hypothesis;

8. propose a research methodology for selected problems;

9. select and apply appropriate research methods to research problems
