Specialization
To ensure that its faculty members are pursuing graduate or postgraduate studies aligned with their field of specialization by providing support in their efforts to maintain competence in their teaching fields by keeping abreast of developments in their own discipline and in disciplines related to their own.
To keep faculty informed and capacitated to upgrade and foster active discussion of developments in their areas of specialization by providing opportunities to facilitate and attend capacity building activities such seminars, workshops, trainings and industry immersion.
To produce research, extension and innovation- oriented faculty members by providing support for research/extension/innovation projects, paper publication and research presentation in the local/regional, national and international fora.
To provide pedagogical support for the faculty’s thoughtful and effective integration of educational technology into the teaching and learning process.
To provide support in the involvement with a professional society to increase opportunity to network with other colleagues in industry and practice.
To acknowledge and reward faculty of their creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity and productivity, individually or in group for their suggestions, inventions, superior accomplishments and other personal efforts which contribute to the efficiency, economy, or other improvement in university operations, or for other extraordinary acts or services in the public interest.
To foster camaraderie, strengthen rapport and cohesiveness by conducting team-building activities, family days and of other similar activities to sustain a professional learning environment thus maintaining and ensuring an environment conducive to the holistic development of the faculty.

The College give pedagogical support for the faculty’s thoughtful and effective integration of educational technology into the teaching and learning process. As such Faculty members are encouraged to produce scholarly outputs that showcase their expertise. Activities that supports development and publication of scholarly works like books, magazines, journals, research articles, monographs, lectures, modules, and instructional materials are being implemented. In effect, a number of this instructional materials are already being processed with the College Committee on Instructional Material Development and to be endorsed to the University Committee on Instructional Material which provides support for the enhancement and enrichment of the teaching and learning materials of the faculty.

To ensure that the trainings provided to faculty are appropriate to their needs and scope, a procedure on the training identification and development of competence is identified as part of the process duly certified by ISO 2015:9001

Availment of Study Leave
Section 5, of the Faculty Manual explicitly provides the process, guidelines and the eligibility criteria for the availment of scholarship .It covers both degree and non-degree programs funded locally by the University (internal- funding) , scholarship grants from national and international organizations, and by self-funding of the faculty.

As the lifeblood of the academe , the University is very consistent in providing support to the continuing professional development of all its personnel . It strives to equitably provide resources for Colleges and units that will enable them to carry out learning and development activities for their respective personnel.
Budget Allocation for the Awards and Incentives
As explicitly provided in the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Guidelines 2018, the University shall allocate at least five percent (5%) of the Human Resource Development funds for the PRAISE and incorporate the same in its annual Work and Financial Plan and Budget.

In the pursuit of quality service excellence, the University provides more than the basic material and bought in various resources to support and bring aid to its faculty to ensure upgrading and updating of knowledge, enhancement of learning and instructional materials and ease of workload and to aid in the research, extension and production function of the faculty.
Aside from the commitment of each faculty to participate in the University/College/Department activities, the conduct and implementation of relevant activities geared towards faculty development were highly participated.
In line with the strategies of implementation defined in the Faculty Development Plan, our faculty were opened with opportunities that enables them to have enhanced performance in their four-fold function ---instruction, research , extension and production .
In effect thereof, our faculty were awardees and recipients of distinguished University Awards, proclaimed winning coaches in both curricular and extracurricular activities and were given distinctions, citations and recognitions for exemplary performances, contributions and cost economy efforts.
The University/College put high regard on the achievement of its faculty for his or her desire for an advanced professional development. It provides monetary and non-monetary reward and incentive for upgrading his/her educational qualification.

There are peer- critiquing activities conducted particularly for the purpose of improvement of research and extension proposal of the faculty.
There is a successful Health and Wellness program for all faculty that provides free blood sugar testing, cholesterol and uric acid test twice annually, seminar/webinars that tackles financial literacy and management, mental health and with zumba and fitness sessions.
