Future residents are required to hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited institution prior to enrolling.
To meet the early fieldwork requirement you may:
take EDSP 4800 at CSUB (or a similar course from another institution) OR
complete 50 hours in a Special Education Classroom OR
complete 25 hours in a Special Education Classrom and 25 hours in a General Education Classroom
You must have taken the following foundational-level courses. Please note, if you are applying to the 2023-2024 school year residency, foundational courses are offered in Spring 2023.

Applicants must have a minimum 2.75 GPA in the last 60 semester units or 90 quarter units
If your GPA is at least 2.5, you may submit an exceptional admissions form (linked here)
Have a conferred bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education to verify that you've met the basic skills requirement.
