MANDATORY COMPLIANCE

1. Completion of the research-based Graduate Tracer Study for BSIT using appropriate methodologies covering the period 2017-2022 is highly suggested to determine the following:

• Percentage of the Program Educational Objectives attained/achieved by the graduates;

• Percentage of graduates who were employed and percentage of graduates who became successful entrepreneurs;

• Feedback from employers regarding the performance of the graduates in their respective workplace;

• Number of graduates who are given awards and recognition for outstanding performance/contributions in the field/ workplace; and

• Number of prominent graduates who have outstanding contribution in the field of information technology.

2. Analyze and evaluate the BSIT program's objectives to develop program education objectives (PEOs) that will ascertain the graduate's level of productivity within a timeframe of three to five years subsequent to their graduation from the university. Present the approved PEOs for BSIT program on the next visit. 

3. Conduct a review and analysis of the "SIRMATA" extension project to determine its alignment with the BSIT curriculum. Consider the following recommendations during the assessment and analysis:

• Include in the documentation the process of evaluating the appropriate beneficiaries for the extension project This will strengthen the extension team's claim that positive outcomes are anticipated from the extension initiatives.

• Evaluate and revise the specific goals of the extension project to include the actual implementation of training.

• Provide a schedule detailing how the conduct of training will be implemented for targeted clients.

4. Develop instructional materials/manuals/ laboratory workbooks for all IT major subjects and submit them to the IM Committee for approval as well as for copyright and patent application. It is possible to compile documentation of IM outputs that have been reviewed and edited by the Instructional Material Committee. The following are examples of supporting documents:

• a. The draft of the instructional material

• b. Endorsement letter to the IM Committee Documentary proof of the IM's review, editing.      and feedback from the IM Committee

• c. The final copy of the IM which has been approved and endorsed by the IM Committee, the Dean of the College, and the University IM Committee.

• d. Proof of submission and copyright approval for the approved instructional material.

5. Develop a comprehensive and well-funded Faculty Development Program for BSIT faculty duly approved by university authorities. It should include educational achievements, professional growth, personal development, training provisions, scholarships and other grants, faculty exchange agreements, support for membership of BSIT faculty to professional organizations, related activities on internationalization, industry immersion program, consultancy on collaborative projects, and fellowship affiliations for BSIT faculty. Indicate corresponding faculty/participants, time period covered, success indicators, monitoring scheme, budget/funding sources and sponsoring agencies, etc. 

6. Submit the plan for review and approval of the University top management prior to its delivery and implementation. 

7. The institution may consider collaboration with established national and international host institutions and partner universities to foster student-faculty exchange programs that may strengthen academic collaboration and acquisition of industry experience.
